Q: What would be a good afternoon snack?
A: In the afternoon, many of us are looking for a boost of energy. The following snacks will perk you up until the dinner meal:
- Kashi TLC granola bars-rich in protein and fiber these fill you right up.
- Apple slices with peanut butter
- ¼ cup trail mix-dried fruit, nuts and seeds
- 6 whole grain crackers and 1 ounce of cheese
- 4-6 ounces of yogurt, with ¼ cup granola topping
Remember to hydrate your body as well with water or decaffeinated tea.
